Gallup recently celebrated their Gallup Indian Ceremonial week, all tribes come together to perform, time to buy from the Native Jewelry Artists.. we are having a taste of it🙌we had our morning Performances from the Diamond Creek Apache Dancers.. had a cook-out for all dancers and staff..we still have Saturday morning big Parade downtown Route 66, Gallup, NM~~Gallup Nursing and RehabilitationHuge Thank you, to staff for all the help, and participating in these big events.. 🎉 We had a fantastic time celebrating July 4th with delicious cake, ice cream, punch, and refreshing watermelon! 🍉 Our residents enjoyed some fun games, winning prizes while playing Balloon Bust and Pin the Donkey Tail. What a joyful celebration! 🎈🎯🫏

"Gallup Nursing & Rehabilitation has been bustling with activity as we dive into crafting. We’ve enjoyed painting, gluing, and assembling our Navajo Hogan. Many residents fondly recall growing up in hogans, and some still reside in them. We have one set up in our backyard, and whenever we can, we gather there to socialize and create a sense of home. At times, we also host Native Ceremonials for our residents, inviting their families and Medicine Men to perform, enriching our community with cultural traditions."
