🎉 Congratulations to Ray C. Corry, BSN, RN, CCRN 🎉
Recipient of the Annual Marshall-Watson Preceptor Award at UTMB!

Ray’s impact as a preceptor goes far beyond clinical instruction—he creates a safe, empowering learning environment where every team member feels supported and valued. As shared by Charis Byrd:

“Ray met me where I was—never judged me for what I didn’t know, and always encouraged growth. He fosters a culture of learning not just for his preceptees, but for the entire healthcare team. Whether it’s sharing evidence-based practices or walking me through research on fall prevention in the ICU, Ray leads with patience, clarity, and compassion.”

Ray exemplifies excellence in mentorship, patient advocacy, and professional development. His ability to teach, guide, and uplift others makes him a role model for all.

👏 Join us in celebrating Ray’s dedication to nursing education and his outstanding contributions to the UTMB community!
