UTMB Galveston Patient Simulation Center The center consists of two teaching rooms which are wired for video and audio recording, a control room, a conference room and a commons area.

The Patient Simulation Center located in Rebecca Sealy Hospital at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston was opened in 2001 and was built under a generous grant by the Sealy and Smith Foundation. The "Human Patient Simulator" (HPS) is a high fidelity, computer driven mannequin that can be programmed to have a variety of physiologic presentations based on physiologically accurate algorithms.
