It's National Microtia and Atresia Awareness Day!

Microtia occurs when the ear (or ears) do not fully develop in the first trimester of pregnancy, leading to small ear/ear canals or no ear at all, which is often associated with hearing loss.

Check out The Ear Community online for more information regarding microtia and atresia, and the day of awareness.

The Academy of Master Clinicians has named Reagan Davis, MPAS, PA-C, its Clinician of the Month for September. As a health care provider in the Department of Otolaryngology as well as an educator in the Physician Assistant Studies Program, he is valued by patients and learners alike.

One nominator shares, “He goes above and beyond educating PA students as a clinical preceptor and contributes regularly to PA didactic education, in addition to his clinical duties.”

Another says, “Reagan showed care and compassion with my healthcare needs. I would recommend him to anyone! Excellent all the way around.”
