What can a simple chair test tell us about strength, balance, and performance? 🧐

At Rehab 2 Perform, we’re using Force Decks to bring objective data to one of the most functional movements out there- the 5-Rep Sit-to-Stand Test.

This test measures how efficiently you can generate and control force through your lower body, tracking things like power output, asymmetry, and movement strategy over just five quick reps.

It’s valuable across the spectrum:
🔹 For high-level athletes, it helps gauge readiness to progress into single leg activities, heavier strength work or impact-based training.
🔹 For older or less ambulatory individuals, it provides insight into lower-body strength, balance, and fall risk- key markers of independence and functional health.
