I just spent 3 days with Patrice Washington and members of her beautiful community at Redefining Wealth Live 2025. I registered for the event with the intention of getting answers for how I run my two businesses- - what Patrice calls the “work pillar”. But what came up again and again is the “space pillar”.

I need to MAKE SPACE for my vision.

I have a desire to integrate my work authentically into one personal brand. I am not just a pediatrician. I am not just a healthcare consultant, professional health advocate, speaker, and business coach for physicians. I am not just a recent divorcée, podcast host and budding women’s empowerment speaker and transitions coach. I am not just a mom of two beautiful young adult women.

I am ALL of these things.
I carry ALL of these identities when I show up personally and professionally.
But I have not EMBODIED them.

I have worked, spoken, and existed in isolated siloes.

That ends TODAY.

It starts with archiving this page on Facebook and Instagram. The content will remain and is incredibly value.

The work wil not stop, but it will EVOLVE.
It will INTEGRATE.
Most importantly, it will TRANSFORM.

For the last two weeks I have had to navigate the healthcare system as a patient. 😟

I am VERY thankful that I know how to advocate for myself.
I shudder to think about what could have happened if I did not.

As physicians, we know how the healthcare system works. We know how to interpret results and explain them in plain terms. We know how to get the most out of medical appointments, how to communicate clearly with medical professionals, and how to prepare for the next steps.

Our friends and family members ask us these questions when they are confused.
