Why is one corner rounded?

This shape that you see on our logo has meaning. The stellate ganglion block helps to take the edge off or to soften your edges. This allows you to move forward in your healing journey.

Thank you to for making this custom sign for our clinic.

It’s a sign of hope for our patients 🩵

Winner winner chicken dinner! And we cooked! 🍗🍗

Our research poster won at Psych Congress in San Diego.

• Receiving SGB before CPT appears especially useful for patients looking for *faster* treatment response.

• The combination of SGB prior to CPT is associated with *larger and faster* reductions in PTSD symptoms.

• Aside from combat, the most common trauma exposures were physical assault (76.7%) and transportation accident (69.8%).

Thanks to all my co-investigators from STRIVE at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

We called this patient “The Bear”.

Dr Lynch said “I want to help you” and he replied through his angry eyes and his deep Ukrainian voice “You can try”. It was straight out of the movie Braveheart.

After his SGB he gave us all giant bear hugs. This photo was taken one day later, he wanted to hug us again.

“There were many patients that broke my heart, but The Bear, he made me cry.” ~Jodi

“Jodi and I just returned from Ukraine.”

“No words can adequately describe our experience treating Ukrainians with PTSD, but I’ll try here.”

“In my military career, I deployed multiple times overseas to combat zones, but I never fought on my own soil to protect my nation—my family, my home. The brave men and women of Ukraine have been under siege nonstop for 3+ years. War has taken its toll.”

“Last week we had the opportunity to treat many Ukrainian soldiers recovering from acute injuries of combat trauma, including several former POWs who suffered in Russian captivity.”

“I was blessed with the opportunity to share my expertise using Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) with Ukrainian clinicians at their PTSD center of excellence in Kyiv.”

“Together, we treated over 50 Ukrainian trauma survivors from all backgrounds. Their pain was palpable. So was their relief after SGB. The healing will continue under the care of their therapists.”

“We are already planning our next steps to build a sustainable SGB capability to help treat the nearly 2 million Ukrainian trauma survivors.”

“Much work to do.
Count on us!”

“Slava Ukraini!
Heroyam slava!” ~Dr. James Lynch
