Quick reminder for Fernbridge/Route 211 travelers: Guardrail work is scheduled tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Ferndale side of Fernbridge.

We’re extending the guardrail as a barrier for new seismic gate equipment. One-way traffic control will be in effect, with delays up to 10 minutes. Crews plan to work in the rain.

Due to illness our Garberville office will be closed in today and in Fortuna this morning, 2/19/26.

Dr Dave D’Amico will be in the Fortuna office this afternoon, 2/19/26, from 1pm-3pm and again tomorrow, Friday,2/20/26, at 9am-12pm if you need to schedule an appointment to be seen in Fortuna.

Heads up, Fortuna: Permit work is scheduled along U.S. 101 near 12th Street on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 9 and 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Expect a northbound lane closure and the northbound 12th Street offramp to be closed both days. To help minimize school drop-off impacts, the northbound offramp will remain open until after 9 a.m. The southbound 12th Street onramp will also be closed briefly during work hours.

Please allow a little extra time and consider an alternate route if needed.
