“Prior to volunteering and working here, I didn't really know what kind of community I wanted to serve, and then working here, we see a lot of people in like rural area or under-served areas, so getting experience with those kind of communities and seeing the need for physicians and other healthcare professionals really shaped what I want to do as a physician later on in life and I think that was a big part of why I was accepted to the University of Washington," says Emma Summerill, Pocatello.”
