The training course prepares interested volunteers for their role. Topics include soils, plant biology, native plants, vegetable gardening, integrated pest management, and more. Lectures and hands-on labs are taught by local experts, including horticulturists, arborists, university professors, experienced Master Gardeners, and Extension professionals.
Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens, located at 2 Canebrake Rd. in Savannah, GA.
