St. Catherine Hospital - Garden City is hosting an Open House and Tour on April 23 from 3-7 PM. This isn’t just a tour, it’s a chance to see firsthand how we’re bringing advanced medical technology and compassionate care together for our community.

This is an opportunity to connect with our caregivers, witness a hands-on demonstration with the da Vinci robot, learn about the amazing MagSeed/MagTrace system revolutionizing breast cancer surgery, walk through the state-of-the-art newly renovated Cath Lab, tour the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and learn about additional resources for support beyond the hospital walls.

For your visit, you can enter through the outpatient services entrance or the hospital's main entrance. We’re excited to open our doors and show how we’re building a healthier future for all.

St. Catherine Hospital – Garden City recently welcomed the Kansas Hospital Association (KHA) and Pioneer Health Network (PHN) to showcase our wide range of services.

The attendees explored our new Cath Lab, Newborn Intensive Care Unit, Intensive Care services, Flight for Life, Da Vinci Robot, and MagSeed/MagTrace technology, with LiveWell present providing great community resources.

It was a great opportunity to share how we’re advancing care and innovation for our community!

Suits off, scrubs on! Our hospital leaders traded their suits for scrubs to spend time alongside our clinical teams to better understand the work happening at the bedside every day in clinical and non-clinical areas.

From the specific challenges in the ED experienced by Hospital President Jason Justus, to the vital support provided by dietary staff with Dr. Anita Toussi, to the intricacies of the Maternal Child Unit with Market HR Director Sammie Ramos , and the rehabilitation journey with CFO Shawna Roark in Inpatient Rehab – every moment was a valuable experience.

Increasing behavioral health skills in our communities remains a top priority in our Community Health Strategic Plan across our Kansas facilities. Last week, our team came together to participate in QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Su***de Prevention Training—strengthening their ability to recognize the warning signs of su***de and confidently connect individuals to help.

While su***de prevention is a serious and sometimes daunting topic, we also made space to focus on self-care and wellness, recognizing that caring for ourselves is essential to caring for others. Together, we are building stronger, more resilient communities across Kansas.
