Feed Mom & Me

Feed Mom & Me Feed Mom & Me Prenatal Supplements created by women for women. Our mission is to support you and your growing family. By women, for women!

Our Prenatals are free of artificial colors or flavors, chemical, preservatives that complement our Pregnancy Recipe Book & Guide. We created Feed Mom and Me after realizing women deserve a better prenatal vitamin. Each prenatal vitamin out there had something about it that we didn’t love. Whether it was too big, smelled/tasted gross, didn’t have a certain vitamin/mineral, or had some weird ingredient in it- there was no “perfect” prenatal out there. We knew in our hearts that something had to change. We wanted to create a prenatal vitamin that we would feel 100% safe taking ourselves.

Help a fellow mama out!🤍 Share your favorite “must have” pregnancy (or postpartum!) item!

1. Prenatal Vitamins:
- Our vitamins are crucial for supporting fetal development. They contain folic acid in the form of methyl-folate (best absorbed), choline and DHA. It’s essential to start taking them even before conception if possible!

2. Comfortable Clothing:
- As your body changes, comfortable maternity clothes become essential. Opt for stretchy fabrics and items like maternity leggings, supportive bras, and flowy tops that adapt to your growing belly.

3. Hydration Tools:
- Staying hydrated is vital. Consider a reusable water bottle to keep track of your daily intake. Some may also benefit from electrolyte drinks, especially if experiencing morning sickness.

4. Comfy slippers:
- Keep your feet nice and comfy and cozy with all those body changes (weight gain and fluid retention) you’ll be experiencing. Plus, they are easier to slip on than socks or shoes!

Preparing for pregnancy (and beyond!) involves gathering items that will support both comfort and health! Check out our website feedmomandme.com for my blog posts written by our experts regarding all things pregnancy and postpartum.

You see the positive pregnancy test now what?! About a million and one things go through your head along with a trillion emotions. Are you ready?! (Is anyone ever really— ready?!!!) BUT, it helps to be prepared — prepared with a birth plan, meal ideas, and of course prenatal vitamins.

prenatal vitamins help fill in those nutritional gaps when you need it most.

Here are our top 3 way to prepare yourself for a baby—
Here are three effective ways to prepare for a baby:

1. Create a Support System: Surround yourself with supportive family and friends who can provide emotional and practical assistance. Consider joining parenting groups or classes to connect with other expectant parents, which can offer valuable insights and a sense of community. We love here on Long Island.

2. Establish a Routine: Start developing a flexible daily routine that includes time for self-care, relaxation, and preparation tasks. This can help you ease into the changes that come with a new baby and create a sense of stability.

3. Prepare Your Home: Organize your living space to accommodate the new arrival. This includes setting up a nursery or designated sleeping area, ensuring you have essential baby gear like a crib, diapers, and clothing, and making safety adjustments around the house.

A nurturing environment for yourself and your little one is #1. Check out our blog on feedmomandme.com for tons of blogs on nutrition and pregnancy. Our e-book Feel Good Food for a Healthy Pregnancy is perfect to help cook nutritious meals!

🌙 How are your sleeping habits during pregnancy?! Sometimes it can be such a struggle to fall asleep AND stay asleep!

Here are our top 3 tips to help you catch those precious Zzzs:

1. Create a Relaxing Bedtime Routine: Wind down with calming activities like reading or gentle stretching to signal to your body that it’s time to sleep.

2. Find Your Sleep Position: As your belly grows, try sleeping on your side, especially the left side, to improve circulation and support your growing baby.

3. Stay Hydrated, But Not Too Close to Bedtime: Drink plenty of water throughout the day, but limit fluids in the evening to reduce those nighttime trips to the bathroom.

Remember, our prenatal vitamins are designed to support your health and your baby’s development, ensuring you get the essential nutrients you need during this important time— all while you sleep! Discover more at feedmomandme.com.

POV you’re growing a healthy baby and a health snack collection simultaneously!

Snacks are a great way to boost your nutrient intake during the day (plus some prenatal vitamins of course!)

You need some healthy suggestions?! We got you covered.
1. Greek Yogurt with Berries and Nuts: Greek yogurt is rich in protein and calcium, and when topped with fresh berries and a sprinkle of nuts, it provides antioxidants, vitamins, and healthy fats. It’s a delicious and satisfying snack that can help keep energy levels up.

2. Hummus and Veggie Sticks: Hummus is a great source of protein and fiber, and pairing it with colorful veggie sticks like carrots, cucumber, and bell peppers makes for a crunchy, nutrient-packed snack. This combo is not only filling but also provides essential vitamins and minerals.

3. Nut Butter on Whole Grain Toast or Apple Slices: Spreading almond or peanut butter on whole grain toast or apple slices offers a great mix of healthy fats, protein, and fiber. It’s a quick and easy snack that can help curb hunger and provide sustained energy.
