This patient, a woman in her 30s, desired fuller, more symmetric breasts while maintaining a soft, natural, athletic-looking contour. She underwent a “ballerina breast augmentation” with dual plane placement of Motiva implants, carefully selected to correct her natural volume asymmetry. A 260cc implant was placed on the right and a 275cc implant was placed on the left to create improved balance and proportion.
Now 6 months post-op, her results have continued to settle beautifully, revealing enhanced symmetry, elegant fullness, and a refined, natural appearance.

Capsular contracture is one of the more well-known complications associated with breast implants, and while it can occur years after surgery, it is something experienced plastic surgeons are trained to diagnose and treat.
This patient originally underwent breast augmentation over 20 years ago and had multiple procedures performed over time before presenting with a severely encapsulated implant. In this video, I’m showing what capsular contracture can actually look like surgically and the importance of carefully addressing both the implant and the surrounding scar capsule.
Cases like this require not only technical precision, but an individualized surgical plan focused on restoring softness, symmetry, comfort, and confidence.
The goal is not just correction — it’s helping patients feel like themselves again with beautiful, natural-looking results.

Breast Augmentation with Lift (Ballerina Aug): This patient, a woman in her 30s, desired more uplifted breasts and restoration of volume after pregnancy and weight loss.  She underwent bilateral augmentation mastopexy with placement of 260 cc Motiva Ergonomix silicone implants in the subfascial plane, fat grafting to enhance upper pole fullness, and placement of bio-absorbable mesh as an internal bra to provide long-term support.  The postoperative photos were taken approximately 6 weeks after her surgery.

Preserve breast augmentation can be combined with a breast lift for the right candidate — allowing us to restore volume, improve shape, and enhance support within one surgical plan.
One important distinction, however, is that patients who do not require a lift may be candidates for Preserve under local anesthesia, while a breast lift is a more extensive procedure that typically requires general anesthesia.
Every patient’s anatomy and goals are different, which is why a personalized consultation is so important.

For this patient, staying active was non-negotiable.
