The FCA offers classes, programs and events for families, children and adults of all abilities throughout the community. From culinary classes to the visual arts, music, and movement to technological exploration - even birthday parties and salon services - the FCA truly has something for everyone.

Summer fun is in full swing at FCA Camp! ☀️ This week, our campers enjoyed a fun-filled day of arts & crafts and a sweet ice cream treat to top it off. Activities like these help our kids express themselves, connect with friends, and enjoy every moment of summer!

Last week, the Family Center for Achievement (FCA) had the honor of participating in the NYC Department of Correction’s 3rd Annual Autism Awareness Panel Discussion. 💙

It was a powerful opportunity to engage with advocates, professionals, and community leaders about the importance of awareness, understanding, and inclusion for individuals with autism.

We’re grateful to the DOC for recognizing FCA and supporting neurodiversity in meaningful ways.

As Autism Acceptance Month came to a close, the Family Center for Achievement hosted a beautiful and energetic Autism Acceptance Celebration on Friday, April 25th! 💙

The day was packed with fun, creativity, meaningful connection — and lots of dancing that brought everyone together in joy!

We’re so grateful to all who joined us in celebrating neurodiversity and making this event unforgettable. Let’s keep the spirit of inclusion going all year long!

From mixing to decorating, everyone had a blast baking up tasty treats and sharing smiles in the kitchen. It was a fun, hands-on experience that stirred up creativity and confidence — and maybe a few future chefs too! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

The Family Center for Autism provides supports and services to families, children, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. It is Long Island’s first venue that provides a lifespan of services to those on the spectrum and a lifeline of support to families. We offer recreation and social programs for individuals aged 3 to 100!
