MEET OUR SPEAKER: Katerina Dinas-Raptis
Katerina D. Raptis was first diagnosed with Stage 1, estrogen-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer in June 2012 at just 32 years old. Her treatment included a double mastectomy, 12 weeks of Adriamycin-Taxol chemotherapy, reconstruction, and Tamoxifen. Nine years later, in June 2021, she faced a second diagnosis of Stage 2 breast cancer with a high Oncotype DX recurrence score. This time, her treatment involved removal of Axillary lymph nodes on her right arm, tumor removal on her right side, o***y and fallopian tube removal, 4 cycles of EC chemotherapy, 12 cycles of Paclitaxel, 12 weeks of radiation, and ongoing Letrozole therapy.
