For our Earth Day celebration, residents enjoyed a wonderful flower arranging activity made possible through the kindness of Nikki and Minnie from Mission Hospice. The beautiful arrangements they created were later used as centerpieces, adding a special and meaningful touch to our celebration. We are truly grateful for their generosity and support in making this activity memorable for everyone.

For Earth Day, our residents had a wonderful time creating their very own Seed Snails—a fun and eco-friendly way to plant and grow!
Here’s how we did it:
• Lay your strip flat
• Add a thin layer of soil along the strip
• Roll it up
• Slowly shape it into a spiral (like a snail!)
• Tie it closed and wrap with twine to hold its shape
• Gently sprinkle seeds into the top of the spiral
• Lightly spray with water and keep it moist
Such a simple, creative project that brings new life and joy!

Paper Crafts Day was a blooming success! Our residents created a beautiful garden collage, full of color and creativity—perfect for their scrapbooking keepsakes. It was wonderful to see everyone’s imagination come to life through art!

In celebration of Earth Day, our residents had a wonderful time planting sweet alyssum—loved by all for its sweet scent and delicate, beautiful flowers. They carefully planted them in our garden and enjoyed watering them afterward, bringing smiles and a sense of accomplishment to everyone involved.
A heartfelt thank you to Ikky Hospice for volunteering and organizing this meaningful and joyful activity.

A beautiful moment at Ivy!
Our talented singing duo filled the room with warmth and nostalgia as they performed the timeless song “Born Free,” perfectly accompanied by our wonderful volunteer pianist, Mr. Joel.
Music truly brings joy to the heart and today was a reminder of how powerful and uplifting it can be. Thank you, Mr. Joel, for sharing your gift and making this moment extra special for our residents!

Paws, smiles, and wagging tails everywhere this National Pet Day!
Rocky, Bibe, and Abby from Alliance of Therapy Dogs came to visit and totally stole the show with their fun tricks and cuddly charm! Our residents could not get enough of the pets, snuggles, and puppy love. Must watch this Video!

In celebration of National Gardening Month, our residents had a wonderful time in gardening class creating these adorable lentil plants! 🌱 Using sprouting lentils for the “body,” dried orange slices for the smile, paper cups, and googly eyes, everyone brought their creations to life with creativity and joy. Moments like these make gardening even more special—full of smiles, laughter, and growth!
