Celebrating International Women’s Day with the beautiful and inspiring women of Ivy Terrace at Garden Grove! Our residents shared wonderful memories as they recalled and talked about influential women in history who inspire them. From the courage of Sojourner Truth, to the dedication to wildlife by Jane Goodall, and the timeless music of Ella Fitzgerald, these remarkable women continue to inspire generations and others.
It was a meaningful time of sharing stories, admiration, and celebrating the strength and achievements of women everywhere. ✨

Making beautiful bracelets during our Arts & Crafts time was a big hit with our residents and staff—especially Vivian!
There’s nothing like creativity, laughter, and a little sparkle to brighten the day. Everyone enjoyed choosing their favorite colors and designing their own special piece. What a fun and meaningful activity to share together!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our February birthday residents!
The room was filled with fun dancing, delicious refreshments, and lots of laughter shared among good friends. It’s always so special to come together and honor each of our amazing residents on their special day. Cheers to another year of beautiful memories!

Garden of Memories – Bookmark Making
In our Garden of Memories class, we planted seeds of creativity and reflection by making beautiful handmade bookmarks.
Each bookmark was thoughtfully designed with flowers, uplifting quotes, and special touches that remind us of cherished moments and loved ones. Just like a garden, our memories continue to grow and bloom in our hearts.
Residents enjoyed sharing stories while creating something meaningful they can use every day in their favorite books. It was a wonderful way to nurture connection, creativity, and remembrance.

This Ash Wednesday, we were blessed to receive the ashes from Reverend Jo Hospice Orange County. Special thanks as well to Erika Barrera, Account Manager for helping make this meaningful observance possible.

Bird feeding fun with our residents! They enjoyed reading information about our bird aviary and decided to help care for the birds by feeding them and preparing fresh water. A simple but heartwarming activity that brings joy, connection, and appreciation for nature.

Our Renewal of Vows celebration was truly a blast! Families gathered with their loved ones as couples said “I do” all over again, followed by heartfelt cheers and a joyful toast. It was a beautiful celebration of love, memories, and lasting commitment. We’re so grateful for everyone who made it such a meaningful event. Must watch this video!

Our 3D Valentine’s Card activity was a big hit!
