Founded in 2000, CNS operates three outpatient clinics located in Southern California (Garden Grove, Long Beach and Torrance). Additionally, our Long Beach facility offers a dedicated Phase I Unit and a JCAHO-accredited Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) centrally located in the greater Los Angeles area. CNS, in partnerships with major pharmaceutical sponsors, conducts clinical trials for new medications and treatments in various therapeutic areas including neurology, psychiatry and general health conditions. CNS offers a professional staff that includes physicians, psychologists, nurses, study coordinators and other Masters level clinicians committed to conducting trials in accordance with all Federal, State and GCP/ICH guidelines. We at CNS are focused on providing high quality care while insuring the integrity of the data collected.

CenExel is pleased to work with Principal Investigator, Dr. Goenjian, who has served as an investigator in over 250 trials, including over 50 Phase I trials. His experience includes all major psychiatric indications as well as many trials in healthy subjects. He has investigated driving simulation and Asian bridging trials, complex trials involving imaging and electrophysiology, and has been on the frontier of trials investigating digital therapeutics, wearable technologies, and other devices.

In addition to conducting clinical trials, Dr. Goenjian is also an inpatient attending at Ocean View psychiatric hospital and works in conjunction with community telepsychiatry programs. He is also a long-standing Council member on the Board of SCPS, the Southern California branch of the American Psychiatric Association. He has participated in numerous volunteer activities, giving back to the community through humanitarian work.

In addition to his broad spectrum of clinical expertise, Dr. Goenjian has received numerous awards and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. We are delighted to have him on the CenExel team.
