Feeling Anxious?
One technique to try is 4-7-8 breathing. When you feel anxious, stressed, or have a panic attack coming on, inhale through your nose for a silent count of 4, then hold your breath for a count of 7, and then exhale for a count of 8. The longer exhalation will help activate your parasympathetic nervous system and help to alleviate your acute anxiety.
