Su***de prevention is about hope, connection, and action. By breaking myths and talking openly, we create safer spaces where people feel seen, supported, and less alone.

If you or a loved one are experiencing suicidal thoughts, please reach out to your treatment team, or if you would like to start services, please contact us at inquiries@ottp.org.

If it is an emergency, please call 911 or call/text the Su***de & Crisis lifeline at 988. We see you. We are here to support.

INTERVENTION THURSDAY!

Imagine you are looking into a mirror. What do you see? Write positive words and phrases about yourself . Inside the mirror, write words that describe who you are (e.g. kind, creative, brave, funny, helpful, smart, strong, caring). Around the mirror, write encouraging things you can say to yourself (e.g. “I can do hard things.”, “I am enough.”, “I am a good friend.”, “I am proud of myself.”).

Use this activity to:
1. Build self-esteem! Focus on your strengths, positive qualities, and what makes you unique.
2. Practice positive self-talk! Encourage yourself with affirmations you can use in daily life.
3. Develop self-awareness! Reflect on how you see yourself and how others see you.
4. Promote resilience! Create reminders you can use when feeling sad or discouraged.
