I am asking all my Facebook friends a favor. If you are hesitant about voting, if you can't decide between the candidates, if you don't care about either candidate, and think you don't need to vote, please reconsider this. Vote for Vice President Kamala Harris by the end of November 5th. If you vow to know more about voting, about the political process and be a better citizen, you will have time to do that and to make other decisions later because there will still be a democracy in America, still be freedom of speech, still be a political process in America.
If the ultra-conservative right wins this time, such opportunities may not exist. Please consider what the agenda of Project 2025 will do to your freedoms. I am desperate to preserve this freedom. Please do not vote for Trump.

I am moved to say that the Republican Party, Those regular folks who are not into conspiracy theories, not fringe-lunatics, and not making decisions based on their billions in the bank---these folks ought to be ashamed of themselves for letting the current candidate get this much power. The kind of power T is after should have been obvious for year's, since January 6, 2020. The party bears little resemblance to the Republican's who were out fathers, mothers, grandfathers, etc. This is way out of line for a democracy. You should be ashamed of yourselves and lining up with Liz Cheney. Just saying. My parents would be appalled by his version of America.

Had a great time in Dover, NH yesterday, met people I'd only seen online but known for years: Brian Evans-Jones (founder of Poetry Parlor), Lauren WB Vermette (new Poet Laureate of Portsmouth, NH) and, Beth Hyde Fox whose book Reaching for the Nightingale has just been released by Finishing Line Press. These three folks read their work, followed by an open mic at The Office Lounge in Dover.
