Welcome to the Hive sweet baby boy!! This birth was extremely close to my heart as I have a personal and strong relationship with this client. This client grew so much during her pregnancy. She exuded confidence, strength, and trust in God. This momma was amazingly strong during her labor asked questions when needed and was up for anything. I am so beyond proud of this woman with so many unknowns she was able to push through and put her trust in God along with her Doula ;) Baby boy was born! His aunty guessing the time correctly which I was impressed and then grandma guessing the weight correctly which blew my mind. I was told number correlation was huge in this family and this baby did not waver from that! Baby boy was so sweet and just loves his momma!

I am so happy to finally announce that I am a Certified Lactation Counselor!
It still feels so surreal! I am so excited to extend my business and provide all of the lactation support and care to all mothers and their families.
There are still a few things I need to add to my new practice to be able to open this side of my business. But I am so darn excited once I get all of the tools I need to move forward! Keep a look out on my page and website for updates on when I will be launching my Lactation counselor services! Woot Woot!!

Lets give a big warm welcome to sweet baby girl born May 9th! This momma was an absolute rockstar! She went in for her last appointment and then went strait to labor and delivery because her body was ready to go! She labored so well so many laughs and amazing stories during labor. It brought so much peace to the room and hubby was so comforting when it came to loving on his wife! It was an amazing moment to witness. When it came time for babies arrival there were so many emotions in the room. Baby was born and we all rejoiced! Tears were streaming down faces! The moment was so special and made me remember why I do what I do.
Congratulations to this special family and welcome to the Hive sweet baby girl! 🐝

Wanted to say a huge warm welcome to a new sweet baby to the Hive! This momma was determined to have a VBA2C. She worked and was so strong through out her whole labor it was really amazing to see and watch how awesome her husband was at supporting his wife. Births like this amaze me seeing the love and support with what I provide and then an added bonus with the amazing labor and delivery nurses, midwife, and husband was like a breath of fresh air seeing us all work as a team to make sure the mother was supported all around! After long hours of laboring baby boy was born with a SUCCESSFUL VBA2C!!! How awesome was that!! I am just so proud of this family and so proud of the hospital staff, myself and my awesome backup doula.

I love hearing my clients be satisfied with the care and support that I provide them. It truly warms my heart knowing the physical and emotional support that I give them and the training that I put to use makes their birth experience be what they had hoped for.

Studies are showing more and more everyday of what continuous support from a Doula can do for women during labor. That goes for VBACs too!
Did you know the risks of VBAC for mothers are the same as for any other
person having a first birth.? Its true! VBACs are possible for a low risk pregnancy don't let anyone else tell you different :)

First Birth of many for the year 2024 and boy was it a good one! Momma started early labor the day before. Her and Hubs took that time to rest and have one last date night in before baby boy decided to get things moving! Things started to move and off to the hospital we went! Mom was absolutely amazing and so strong! She did a great job working one contraction at a time and took her breaks to sneak in some naps. Hubby was so supportive! He provided comfort measures and really showed his wife support you could really see how in love they were with each other, it was beautiful! Finally baby boy was born a whopping 9 lbs 5 ounces! Mom did it all unmedicated, so extremely proud of her and her husband they were rockstars!

It was my final day with this sweet family for postpartum ! It’s always bittersweet to leave a family because you have grown a relationship with them. We have had many great conversations getting to know each other. Even though this part of my job is hard I always cherish every moment ! It warms my heart knowing that I have provided the comfort, support and breath of fresh air mommas and families deserve !

Currently reading Changing Birth on Earth by Gail N. Tully, to enhance my knowledge on use of physiology techniques to better help my clients for a successful vaginal birth!

Our big audacious goal in Spinning Babies® is that 30% of all obstetricians, midwives, intrapartum nurses, and doulas, use physiology in our recommended techniques and others before resorting to more invasive interventions.

Develop yourself as a resource by using your breath.

Here's how to breathe with a contraction:
1. As soon as the contraction starts, take a deep breath in and release it fully.
2. Breathe as deep and normal as you can for the rest of the contraction, adapting your depth of breath as needed.
3. Always end with the same deep “cleansing breath”.

You are cleansing away any lactic acid build up. Lactic acid makes the muscles more tender and sore. Breathing can be developed to be a pain management option.

Embrace grace is a program for unmarried, pregnant women who need love, encouragement and support. We meet every week, and throw a free baby shower at the end! There’s no catch, we just want every mom to know how loved and special she is.
