Today, we had the honor of seeing Shawn reach an incredible moment in his journey — going home after making amazing progress in brain injury rehab! 🧠💪

From day one, Shawn worked so hard, pushing through tough challenges with courage and determination. Watching him regain strength, independence, and confidence has been truly inspiring.

As a team, these are the moments that remind us why we do what we do — celebrating victories big and small, and cheering on the resilience of the human spirit. 💙

Cherri is headed HOME! She’s made incredible progress during her time here, and we’ve all been inspired by her strength and especially her unforgettable sense of humor. We’re really going to miss that! Now, Cherri is heading home to be with her family, and she couldn’t be more excited to begin this next chapter. Cherri, thank you for sharing your journey with us. We’re so proud of you and can’t wait to see what’s next. You’ve got this!

Johnson went HOME with the support of his amazing mom who has been by his side throughout his whole recovery journey. Johnson has a goal to return his job that he loved, and move into his own place. Congratulations Johnson!

Troy walked out the doors of Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital and headed home, surrounded by his loving family. Throughout his time with us, Troy kept spirits high and brought smiles to everyone around him with his unforgettable sense of humor. We'll miss his laughter and presence in our halls. The ability to recognize the signs of an overdose or opioid poisoning can be the difference between life and death. Know the signs, call 911 immediately, and administer naloxone if a person exhibits ANY of the following:
• Small, pinpoint pupils
• Falling asleep or losing consciousness
• Slow, weak, or no breathing
• Choking or gurgling sounds
• Cold and clammy skin
• Bluish color around lips or nail beds
