It's National Assisted Living Week! In honor of this year's theme, "Ageless Adventure," we held a Mixer Dinner today that gave our residents a chance to get to know some new neighbors. The dinner featured all the elements of fine dining including a skilled Maitre D, dapper escorts, and a fabulous meal. It was a wonderful adventure!

This afternoon we held our Second Annual First Responder Appreciation BBQ and had a blast! Crew from the Gardner Police Department, Gardner Fire Department, and Wood's Ambulance came by for some good food and good company as a small thank-you for the continuous help and support they give to our community. A big shout out to Fidelity Bank for sending in their Frosty Flyer ice cream truck to add to the fun!

HWC Residents made delicious Zucchini Bread yesterday and are selling individual loaves today in the HWC lobby for $4 per loaf (while supplies last)! All proceeds from the sales go directly to the HWC Resident Activity Fund which is managed by Resident Council and used for activities and items that are available to benefit all residents.
