HWC Residents have been keeping very busy recently. The guys gathered for their monthly Men's Club lunch, our furry friend Abbey came by to visit, and Ginny led a watercolor class!

Our residents were busy this week using their artistic talents: baking, crafting, painting and playing music. Thank you to volunteers Pat, Kris, Linda, Laurie and Ann for helping to make it all happen!

Happy Veterans Day - Thank You to all our Veterans for your service and sacrifice! Last week, HWC held a special program to honor our Veterans. We were joined by Mayor Mike Nicholson, State Representative Jon Zlotnik, Nick Charrette from the Executive Office of Veterans Services and representatives from Montachusett Veterans Outreach Center.

Happy Halloween! HWC Residents celebrated yesterday with music by the Williams Brothers. There were some great costumes! And, Residents voted on our pumpkin decorating contest. Various HWC Departments decorated pumpkins and the residents voted Cinderella as the #1 favorite pumpkin. Congratulations to the HWC Housekeeping & Maintenance Team for the winning pumpkin!

HWC Residents were treated to a sweet visit from our canine friend Abbey today. Her Halloween costumes were adorable!

‘Tis the season for all things Pumpkin! HWC Residents made Pumpkin Bread yesterday and are selling individual loaves today in the HWC lobby for $4 per loaf (WHILE SUPPLIES LAST)! All proceeds from the sales go directly to the HWC Resident Activity Fund which is managed by Resident Council and used for activities and items that are available to benefit all residents.
