HWC Residents have been busy this last week of 2025! On Monday, they painted winter scenes with guidance from our fabulous Volunteer Kris. Yesterday, Gordon led a Pinochle for Beginners group.

There's no place like home for the holidays and that is certainly the case here at HWC. Our residents have been super busy with special seasonal events such as caroling with Mayor Nicholson and friends, baking and decorating cookies with volunteer Rhonda, playing reindeer ring toss with volunteers Donna and Rick and gathering together for our annual Grab Bag event! Happy holidays!!

HWC Employees enjoyed their Holiday Party yesterday! We had lunch from Duguay's Chicken & Seafood sponsored by the HWC Resident Council, an amazing spread of delicious desserts provided by Norman R's family and many rounds of Reindeer Ring Toss. Later, we joined the Residents for a Holiday-themed Peanut Auction!

HWC Residents had a fabulous time yesterday at their Annual Holiday Party. Andy Ross provided great musical entertainment, Santa & his Elves distributed gifts and there was plenty of delicious food created by our awesome culinary team!

HWC Residents gathered earlier today to vote on their favorites in each category, and the winners are....Ugliest Holiday Sweater: Secret Santa; Cutest Holiday Sweater: Bonnie; Most Festive Holiday Sweater: Joy. Congratulations to our winners!

We had such a wonderful time yesterday at our Holiday Open House! Residents, Staff, Volunteers, Families & Friends enjoyed great company, delicious food and awesome music by Big Dave and The Captain. Happy Holidays everyone!
