🎄🇺🇸-For the very first time, the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree—“The People’s Tree”—will come from right here in Nevada, harvested from the beautiful Toiyabe National Forest. Along with it, 10,000 handmade ornaments from Nevadans across the state will make their way to Washington, D.C. to decorate this historic tree.

Our residents at The Chateau at Gardnerville poured their creativity and love into 53 of those ornaments, each one a tiny piece of Nevada’s story and spirit. To see their joy in contributing to something that will shine on our nation’s Capitol grounds is truly heartwarming.

This is more than just holiday décor—it’s a symbol of community, connection, and pride in being part of something bigger than ourselves. We’re grateful our residents could leave their mark on this once-in-a-lifetime Nevada milestone.🎄

🍂💜✨The Chateau at Gardnerville was honored to host our Cruise for a Cause car show to raise awareness and support in the fight to end Alzheimer’s. Our community, residents, families, and friends came together surrounded by classic cars, great conversations, and a shared passion for making a difference.

A huge thank you to our Life Enrichment Assistant Linda who put this whole event together. And THANK YOU to everyone who brought their beautiful cars, our wonderful vendors who joined us for the day, and helped shine a light of hope for those living with Alzheimer’s and their loved ones. Together, we drive forward toward a cure. 💜✨🍂
