Did you know that loud restaurants improve business profit?

Research has shown that when restaurants and bars are loud, people consume more alcohol and finish their meals faster. For a restaurant owner, that means more sales and quicker table turnover. Not only are you more likely to focus on your food and drink when the environment is too loud for conversation, but noise is also a physical stimulant!

However, many of my patients mention they will avoid these restaurants in the future. So I want to know, do loud restaurants bother you? What is more important to you? If you had to pick, would it be the experience or the food?

"Can anything be done to make my ringing go away?"

Many of our patients report that tinnitus (or noises in the ears) is one of the primary reasons they came for their initial hearing test. They may have been told by other healthcare professionals that there is "nothing that can be done" and to "learn to live with it"....

While there is not currently a CURE for tinnitus, there are many treatments that have been shown to be effective in reducing the perception of tinnitus. An excellent resource I share with my patients is the American Tinnitus Association. Their website has useful educational articles, tools, and support groups offered for those who suffer from tinnitus.
