I'd like to share a rather unusual, free, parenting education resource...bumper stickers! Advancing Parenting, a Camarillo CA nonprofit, produces parenting tips bumper stickers and makes them available at no cost to businesses, organizations, clinics, schools, and individuals. There are fifty-one in a set and each bumper sticker communicates a parenting behavior or practice generally recognized as supporting the healthy development of children. Just one will be read thousands of times!

Bumper stickers are a unique and powerful way to educate everyone about parenting. At stoplights drivers and passengers point, smile, and nod. Conversations begin and often a phone is used to take a photo of the sticker right at the stoplight. Presumably, they are being shared on social media. It's wonderful to see!

Pediatrics at Murphy Road is in search of a Medical Assistant to work as needed during the leave of absence for our current Medical Assistant. Pediatric and TVFC experience preferred. The position will be M – F 8: 30 am – 5: 30 pm with an hour lunch, for approximately 6-8 weeks with a possibility of covering in the future. Responsibilities include rooming patients, administering vaccines, processing labs, drawing blood, and other duties as assigned.

Assignment will be from mid-October to mid-December. If you have an interest, please inquire within.

Hi everyone!

Our Electronic Medical Record is down, leaving us unable to access charts, electronically prescribe prescriptions or access our schedule. At this time, we ask that if you have called our office within the last 72 hours to request a refill of any ADHD medication, please call our office again at 972-414-2883 so that we can arrange for you to be issue a written prescription.
