I started practicing yoga twelve years ago at Appalachian State University and was immediately hooked on the confidence and peace of mind a regular yoga practice can bring.
I am currently training in herbal medicine with Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine and received my RYT200 Yoga Certification in July 2021 with Zin Yoga Studio. My hope is that those who attend my classes leave feeling more grounded, empowered, and present.
Being a plus size teacher, I encourage all body shapes & sizes to join my classes and see the beauty and strength in each unique student. Depending on the season and the needs of the students, my classes range from powerful flows to gentle grounding sequences, however there is always time for pranayama and meditation. Yoga can do wonders for your mind and body.
Please join me for a nourishing class to warm, ground, and strengthen our bodies. Occasionally I like to bring in herbs and flowers for meditations or send my students home with a nourishing tea.
