Thursday was a total blast! 🎪✨ We started our day off with a student carnival, had some laughs (and a little friendly competition) during BINGO with IMT Transport, and wrapped up the day with the community carnival.

And let’s talk snacks… 🍿🍩 We treated ourselves to popcorn, mini donuts, cookie buckets, and ice cream—because carnival days are best enjoyed one sweet bite at a time!

Thanks to everyone who joined in and helped make it such a fun day. We’re already counting down to the next one!

Tissue paper flowers were on the agenda Wednesday—because our Moments in Bloom theme deserves a little hands-on magic. 🌸 Grab your favorite colors, twist, fluff, and create a bloom that’s totally your own!

Energy drink bar on Tuesday for the team to enjoy — and yes, even the office dog had to come check it out! 😄⚡️ We set up a little “pick-your-favorite” station with plenty of options to grab, sip, and power through the day. Nothing like a midweek boost (and a little laughter) to keep the energy up around here!

Concord Care Center kicked off Skilled Nursing Week by welcoming Garner Mayor Tim Schmidt to sign our Skilled Nursing Week Proclamation.

Sequoyah spent time with the residents exploring crystals and creating beautiful crystal bracelets, then we toasted the 2026 theme "Moments In Bloom" with cupcakes topped with edible flowers, plus lavender and hibiscus teas.

Here's to meaningful moments, caring hands, and a week full of joy! 🌺

Work crew, but make it after hours.

Ashley, Provisional Administrator at Lake Mills Care Center, Kaitlyn, Provisional Administrator at Concord Care Center, Morgan (LNHA) and Elsa (Social Worker) from the Rehabilitation Center of Belmond, and Lauren, Unit Nurse Manager at Heritage Care Center, all got together for a little post-work fun at Alma Mercantile.
