Cardinal Grove Assisted Living Tenants have been busy this summer! Tenants created a wish list of activities they thought they would never be able to do again. One of the activities was swimming. A big 'Thank you' to Bethany from the Garner Public Library, who provides our residents with an activity every Tuesday afternoon! This weeks activity was a game of Tensies with winners able to pick out a free book provided by Garner Public Library. Thank you Bethany for all you do for our residents here at Concord Care Center, we love our weekly visits and fun!

We would like to thank the Garner EMTs for encouraging and motivating our residents, and adding a comical touch during our Movin’ to Music program last week during National Skilled Nursing Care Week! A great time had by all!
As the week came to an end, residents enjoyed cocktails and d’oeuvres while reflecting on the activities of National Skilled Nursing Care Week! Thank you to all who helped us celebrate the week and make it extra special for us!

We had wonderful Wednesday as we continued to celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week! Deacon John stopped in the morning by to say the rosary with residents. Residents got to enjoy the fresh air on the patio as they offered their congratulations to GHV class of 2025, during their Senior Walk. We finished the day with the Klemme Sewers and Needlers as the assisted the residents and tenants with a 'Tapestry of Life' (the week's theme) craft while listening to some beautiful piano music by Madelyn Priebe. Thank you everyone who made our day extra special!
