This 2020-2021 FIRST LEGO League season has been unlike any other season in the history of FLL. Everything is new and different, all competitions are virtual, nothing like ever before. We are so proud of these kids! With gracious professionalism they have embraced all the covid-19 restrictions & guidelines, all the unknowns, all the new and all the different. They have worked hard and persevered thru all the covid-time challenges to accomplish so much! From the robot games, to their project to core values - all while staying six feet distanced - crazy crazy season! This Saturday, February 20th, Team #3995 will attend their regional competition - virtually! These seven young people are absolutely amazing and we are excited to share in their competition day with them! GOOD LUCK TEAM #3995! We are VERY VERY proud of you all!!!

With the forecast of heavy snow for Sunday and Monday, the Hudson Fire Department would like to remind city residents that they are responsible to clear snow around fire hydrants that are located on their properties. Firefighters having to search for hydrants buried in snowbanks can seriously delay....

Team 3995 is heartbroken to not be able to attend the State FIRST LEGO League competition today at the Iowa State University College of Engineering in Ames due to the nasty weather. The safety of the team, and their families, is more important than any award that could be won. The Team had a great season, worked very hard and learned so much. They are proud of what they have accomplished as a Team. Everyone please be safe today as our Winter Storm Warning has now turned into a Blizzard Warning.
