Our final 2026 Hancock County Farm Bureau Scholarship Spotlight features Nataly Lattimore.

The HCFB scholarship is awarded to a high school senior whose parents/guardians are Farm Bureau members in Hancock County. Applicants were selected based on academic standing, leadership experience, civil involvement, and their commitment to rural Iowa and the agricultural community.

Nataly is the daughter of Tom Lattimore of Garner, Iowa. While a student at Garner- Hayfield-Ventura, Nataly was involved in FFA, Football Cheer, Basketball Cheer, Wrestling Cheer, Competition Cheer, Choir, National Honor Society, Trap Shooting, Archery, Theater, and Speech.

Nataly plans on attending a four-year university where she will be studying to become a Veterinary Technician.

Per letter of recommendation, “Nataly is a hardworking, dependable, and motivated individual who takes pride in her work and responsibilities. I am confident she will continue to succeed and positively represent any program, school, or organization she becomes involved with.

Our third 2026 Hancock County Farm Bureau Scholarship Spotlight features Reed Rauk.

The HCFB scholarship is awarded to a high school senior whose parents/guardians are Farm Bureau members in Hancock County. Applicants were selected based on academic standing, leadership experience, civil involvement, and their commitment to rural Iowa and the agricultural community.

Reed is the son Karla Rauk of Garner, Iowa. While a student at Garner- Hayfield-Ventura, Reed was involved in Academic Banquet, National Honors Society, FFA, and Student Council

Reed plans on attending Iowa State University where he will study Agricultural Engineering.

Per letter of recommendation, “I have no doubt that Reed will continue to achieve success in his future academic and personal goals. His work ethic and character will serve him well in any challenge he takes on.”

Our second 2026 Hancock County Farm Bureau Scholarship Spotlight features Brinley Hiscocks.

The HCFB scholarship is awarded to a high school senior whose parents/guardians are Farm Bureau members in Hancock County. Applicants were selected based on academic standing, leadership experience, civil involvement, and their commitment to rural Iowa and the agricultural community.

Brinley is the daughter of Brandi Hiscocks of Ventura, Iowa. While a student at West Hancock, Brinley was involved e National Honor Society, FFA, 4-H, Student Council, Cross Country, SES (Students Educating Students), Pep-Club, Youth Group, and a Class Officer.

Brinley plans on attending North Iowa Area Community College where she will study Ag Business.

Per letter of recommendation, “Brinley is an intelligent, hardworking, and driven young woman. Even as a freshman, Brinley was always willing to lend a helping hand, both in the classroom and while working on Student Council projects. She has a strong moral character and a strong work ethic, and she lives what she believes.

Our first 2026 Hancock County Farm Bureau Scholarship Spotlight features Isaiah Collins.

The HCFB scholarship is awarded to a high school senior whose parents/guardians are Farm Bureau members in Hancock County. Applicants were selected based on academic standing, leadership experience, civil involvement, and their commitment to rural Iowa and the agricultural community.

Isaiah is the son of Bruce Collins of Kanawha. While a student at West Hancock, Isaiah was involved in track, basketball, cross country, band, student council, NHS, and FCA.

Isaiah’s plans involve attending Iowa State University where he will study Electrical Engineering.

Per letter of recommendation, “Isaiah has a heart to not only see himself succeed and achieve goals, but also, see others do the same. I see this in his strong work ethic and dependability. He sets goals and works hard to achieve them. I have seen him face obstacles that have caused frustration, but he actively figured out a way to work through and overcome those obstacles.”

Congratulations to the 2026 Young Farmer Leadership Award recipients! 🎉
This award honors the legacy of past Iowa Farm Bureau President Bob Joslin by recognizing young farmers who demonstrate outstanding leadership and service. Congratulations to Andrew Benning of Franklin County, Cale Gent of Hancock County, and Mitchell Sievers of Buena Vista County, who were selected for their commitment to agriculture, involvement in Farm Bureau, and dedication to strengthening their local communities.

We are proud to celebrate their achievements and excited to see the impact they will continue to make in Iowa agriculture.
