Dear homeschool friends and supporters,
We have made the very difficult decision to take a break from our in-person activities happening at 611 Benson Road.
It has been a wonderful year of bringing families, students, teachers, and community members together for educational and social events, and helping to spread the word that, yes, YOU can homeschool with confidence and joy. I believe that completely and I am deeply grateful for your family's support.
Many of you know that our in-person community center idea had been in the works since 2019. At that time, I had a up-for-anything toddler, and two independent young teens, leaving me with a lot of planning energy for community-building.
Unfortunately, a global pandemic closed the doors of our first location before we ever were able to open to your families, but I vowed to try again.
Thanks to the amazing support of the Garner business community, we found a location to do just that, and we created a beautiful, welcoming space filled with love, laughter, and learning.
Mid-way through 2023, life looks so different for all of us than it did in 2019.
I know it has only been a year on Benson Road, and it feels like we had only just begun, but at this time, it is the best business and personal decision to step back, examine, and regroup so that we can come back with the programs and solutions that will best serve the homeschool community moving forward.
Because of the overwhelming response to our Choir program, that class will be moving to a new home in the Garner area. There are still some available spaces for interested students. Please email laina@trianglehomeschoolresources.com for information.
Our Planning With Purpose Retreat will be our last in-person event at 611 Benson Road.
****If you had registered students for any fall classes, please check your emails. There should be an update about deposit refunds and other information that was sent out yesterday.

While our brick and mortar doors are closing, the website, workshops, and other services will continue to be available. I will be communicating by email and on social media as I have been since 2018! I encourage you to engage in those conversations as we shape what is to come next because this idea was never just me or my family - it was about the beautiful community of homeschoolers we have here in North Carolina and beyond!
Please keep in touch and reach out if there is anything I can do for your family on your homeschool journey.
Again, thank you so much for your support, and your understanding as we make this transition.
Sincerely,
Laina Yeisley
