We’re incredibly proud to share that during the Recover-Care Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet, our very own Executive Director, Casey Karnes, was recognized as the Recover-Care Rookie of the Year! 🏆

This award honors a new leader who has already made a lasting impact — not just through results, but through integrity, vision, and heart. Though Casey may be new to Parkview Heights over the past year, her leadership has quickly become a guiding light for our center. She leads with humility, lifts up those around her, and continuously works to build a stronger, more connected team.

Casey’s commitment to doing what’s right, growing others into leaders, and always looking ahead has been nothing short of inspiring. This recognition is well-deserved — and we are beyond grateful to have her leading the Parkview Heights family. 💙

On September 9th, 2025, Executive Director Casey Karnes and Director of Nursing Suzanna Cubit proudly represented Parkview Heights Nursing and Rehab Center at the Recover-Care Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet.

This incredible honor celebrates the dedication, growth, and unity of our entire team — from clinical excellence to census growth, top-tier customer service, and strong staff satisfaction. It’s a recognition of the hard work, passion, and leadership that drives everything we do.

🎉 We had a sweet time celebrating Grandparents Day at Parkview Heights with an Ice Cream Social! 🍦💕

From delicious toppings to fudgy brownies and everything in between, there was no shortage of smiles (or sprinkles)! 😄🍫🍒

To top it all off, we wrapped up the day with special hug shirts made with love. 💖👕 Thank you to everyone who made it such a memorable day!

👉 Please bring a blank t-shirt to decorate and create a one-of-a-kind Hug Shirt with your grandparent.
This will be held in our main dining room.

As a mentor, Gina has also played a vital role in supporting and guiding her fellow team members - a true testament to her leadership and generous spirit.

Today is all about the TIKI bar and Hawaii. Lunch was Hawaiian pork, Hawaiian potato salad, carmelized pineapple and coconut rum cake...all of which were amazing. Now it's Hawaii the movie and beverage time.

Last week, as we all got back into the swing of things for back to school, our very own Suzanna Cubit, APRN, treated the team to a delicious lunch! She fired up the grill and served up barbecued burgers and hot dogs for everyone to enjoy. 😋🔥
