Parkview Heights Nursing & Rehab Receives 2025 Merit Award in the To The Stars: Kansas Business Awards
Parkview Heights Nursing & Rehab is proud to announce that we have received a 2025 Merit Award in the Healthcare/Non-Profit category for the Southeast Region as part of the To The Stars: Kansas Business Awards, presented by the Kansas Department of Commerce.

The 2025 awards ceremony was held on October 16th in Pittsburg, where nearly 500 attendees gathered at Pittsburg State University’s Robert W. Plaster Center to celebrate businesses and entrepreneurs whose work strengthens local communities and the Kansas economy.

This year’s program saw a record 431 nominees across 11 award categories, resulting in 372 Merit Awards, 59 Regional Awards, and several prestigious statewide honors. Among the top statewide winners, Grey Snow Management Solutions received the Governor’s Award of Excellence, and GeoProbe Systems was named Governor’s Exporter of the Year.

We are honored to be recognized among so many outstanding organizations and proud to serve our community with dedication and excellence.

🎉 Congratulations, Elizabeth! 🎉

We’re so proud of our Dietary Manager, Elizabeth Kirkland, for passing her CDM, CFPP certification exam last week! 🥳

Elizabeth works tirelessly to provide our residents with delicious, nutritious meals every day, and this accomplishment is a true reflection of her dedication and passion.

We celebrated with a fun mimosa bar and all our residents joined in to cheer her on! 🧡

Please help us congratulate Elizabeth on this wonderful achievement — we’re so lucky to have her on the Parkview Heights team! 👏✨

Today we honor the brave men and women who’ve served and sacrificed for our freedom. We’re so thankful for every veteran and their families, your courage and faith inspire us every day. May we never take for granted the cost of the freedom we get to live in. 🇺🇸🤍
We have 5 Veterans here at Parkview Heights. While an ice cream social is not enough to repay them for all that they've done for us they all really enjoyed the ceremony.

Late post! Maddox worked for months to personalize cards for our residents and staff. This every card was different and individualized. We cannot thank her enough for thinking of our residents and all of the staff at parkview heights

Congratulations to our November Employee of the Month — Darin Schweer! 🎉
Darin, our Maintenance and Environmental Services Director, was chosen by our residents for his hard work and dedication. He’s been part of the Parkview Heights family for 4 years and goes above and beyond every day. Darin is always willing to take on anything that needs done and loves learning about our residents. We’re so thankful for all he does!
