The residents love collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) for Children. Of course it always helps to take a trip to McDonald's to celebrate their accomplishments!

A huge thank you to Bruce and Deb Driscoll for donating a snow cone machine for the residents! They have enjoyed having nice cold snow cones on these hot summer days!

Earlier in June we celebrated National Nursing Assistants Week and we planned many great events here at Miller's for our CNAs. However, the best gift they received was from the memory care residents who made homemade cupcakes to honor all the CNAs here at Miller's. The residents are so thoughtful and caring.

We are very grateful to the Spencerville Eastern Star Senior Buddies Program. Once again they donated $500 toward the purchase of products for the benefit of the residents. This year we were able to purchase hand bells, radio/CD players, card games, cardio drumming equipment, parachute exercise game, and many other items for the enjoyment of the residents.

We just used the parachute the other day and had a great time along with getting some exercise.

Thanks again, Spencerville Eastern Star, for allowing us in your program and we will see you at the Auburn Fair for your delicious donuts!
