I became a massotherapist after I realized I could get rid of Laura's sinus headaches. I went to school, passed my state boards and opened my own small business.
People often ask why I don't charge more. My philosophy is that I want to be affordable for folks who really need it. I have a following among teachers and folks who work hard for a living. Therapeutic massage should not be a luxury.

Well, I did it. I "quit my day job" and am concentrating on helping to take care of my dad and doing massages. My hours are more flexible. I invite my school teacher friends (and others) to schedule an appointment and get your shoulders down from around your ears.
