Construction began on Walt Disney World's third theme park in 1987 on 135 acres dedicated to film, television, music, and theater. By opening day May 1, 1989, Disney's MGM Studios had taken on the image of the golden age of Hollywood, and guests were immersed in a true backlot experience with a replica of Grauman's Chinese Theatre as the visual centerpiece. In 2008, after a departure from their MGM partnership, Disney re-branded as Disney's Hollywood Studios, and began a series of undertakings that would bring to life Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, Toy Story Land, and the upcoming Monstropolis as the park continues to expand and re-imagine the guest experience. This park has become known for elaborate shows, thrilling attractions, and up-close experiences with performers like the Citizens of Hollywood and Batuu. Star Wars fans gather every year for the May 4th celebrations, and holiday lovers come to experience the Jollywood holiday party. Over 12 million guests visited the park in 2025! Did you know that this is the only Disney park to feature a ride that is dedicated to Mickey Mouse? Whether you come for the thrill rides, the shows, or the characters, Disney's Hollywood Studios is a must-do on your next Disney vacation. Let's talk about passports! A valid passport is required to travel outside the United States (with the exception of Canada requiring only the passport card). If you are 16 and over, this passport will serve you for the next 10 years. If you are under 16, you'll need to renew in 5 years. You can also use your passport for domestic flights if you do not have Real ID. Happy Earth Day AND Happy 28th Birthday to Disney's Animal Kingdom!
In 1995, Disney announced their 4th Florida theme park, Animal Kingdom. Construction began in July of 1996 after Imagineers traveled through African and Asia studying wildlife, landscapes, and culture gathering ideas that they would bring to life. Disney collected seeds from 37 countries for the plants and grasses seen throughout the park on opening day, April 22, 1998. Animal Kingdom is their largest park (580 Acres)...did you know that all of Magic Kingdom would fit inside the African Safari?! This park welcomed 9 million visitors in 2025 (Yes - I was one of those!), and remains dedicated to animal conservation and their natural environment. Seen here, The Tree of Life is the park's icon and displays over 300 animal carvings and stands 145' tall. In the true spirit of Walt Disney, the park is ever-changing. While we said goodbye to lands like Camp Mickey Minnie and DINO Land USA, Pandora - The World of Avatar continues to bring joy to visitors, and we will soon welcome Tropical Americas with all new adventures. From the amazing shows and animal trails to thrilling attractions and unique food choices, Disney's Animal Kingdom is a must-do for all ages!

It's time! The Electric Mayhem is taking over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster May 26th! I loved the original, but I'm also a big fan of the muppets, so I'm excited to experience this.

On May 3rd, guests will experience a new track, refreshed ride vehicles, polished effects, and a new Rainbow Cavern scene!
