Benedictine Living Community-Garrison is a senior living community with a health care continuum.
Benedictine Living Community-Garrison was built in 1969 to support the local elderly population’s desire to stay in their beloved town when they could no longer live on their own. Now 45 years later, we are proud to say that we are still serving the community and providing a place in which our family and friends from Garrison and the surrounding area are able to call home. The Meadows was made possible with donations from generous members of our community and a matching amount from Benedictine Health System. Our doors opened in 2009, furthering our commitment to our local elderly by providing assisted living options for those who aren’t able to stay in their homes, but not ready for skilled care.

We're kicking off the Holiday Season festivities early! Neighbors and friends gathered together to decorate (and eat) cookies and guzzle down festive beverages while rockin' out to Christmas music. We even had a visit from the big man himself, Santa!

❤️ Helping Vets Get Their Benefits 💙
Did you know that many veterans are eligible for benefits that support the cost of senior living, but don’t apply because they are not aware of them, or the process is too confusing? At Benedictine, we’re changing that.
We’ve teamed up with Patriot Angels who specialize in helping veterans obtain VA Aid and Attendance benefits. This means fewer delays, less stress and more support for our veteran residents and their families.
Whether it's paying for assisted living or memory care, these benefits are life-changing — and we’re working to make sure no hero gets left behind.
Discover how Benedictine and Patriot Angels help veterans and spouses access VA benefits for senior care. Learn about eligibility, benefits and how to get started.

Advent is a time of waiting — not in haste, but in hope. It calls us to pause, reflect and prepare our hearts for Christ’s coming. May this time inspire us to live with intention — seeking peace, offering kindness and sharing joy. As the candles of the Advent wreath grow brighter, may our lives shine with faith, hope and love.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Gordy "Crazy Fingers" Lindquist. We were blessed to have Gordy perform for our neighbors and staff several times here at our home. It was during one of these visits, we discovered he was related to some of our neighbors. His performances were very popular here, not just because of his God given talent, but because of his kindness and outgoing personality that shone through. There's no doubt he will be greatly missed by many! 🎹🎼❤️
