Last night was a blast at the Braxton County Fair! Thanks to everyone who stopped by the WVU Medicine tent for a free blood pressure check and to learn more about our services.
We had a great time connecting with the community, and we're looking forward to seeing you all again tonight!

What an amazing weekend! 🚲
A huge thank you to everyone who made the bike and helmet giveaway event a massive success! The event was hosted by WVU Medicine/Braxton County Memorial Hospital and Friends of Burnsville Lake.
It was truly a collaborative effort that brought so many smiles to kids in our communities.
Kids not only received free helmets, but they were also custom-fitted to ensure their safety. The best part? Seeing their excitement as they decorated them with cool stickers! We also raffled off 12 bicycles, making some very happy winners! And let's not forget the snow cones and popcorn – a big hit with everyone!
A special shout-out to all the hospital employees who volunteered their Saturday – your dedication made all the difference!
We're also incredibly grateful for the generous contributions from Mark LeRose Ford, Friends of Burnsville Lake, Braxton County Rotary, and the A.R.K. hospital recognition program.
Together, we made a real impact!

We’re so grateful for the generous contributions from Mark LeRose Ford and the Braxton County Rotary to our bike/helmet give away on July 19th. Thanks to their support, more kids in our community will have the helmets they need to stay safe and some will also be given a brand new bicycle!

Today, WVU Medicine Braxton County Memorial Hospital was filled with patriotic spirit as we celebrated the 4th of July! 🇺🇸 We extend our heartfelt thanks to Boy Scout Troop T211 for their outstanding flag raising ceremony – a truly remarkable job!

We're also incredibly grateful to our own team members, Sydney Frame for guiding us through the Pledge of Allegiance, Trista Rush for her inspiring National Anthem, and Sissy Price for sharing a touching patriotic poem. It was a beautiful ceremony, made possible by our wonderful community and dedicated staff. Happy Independence Day!
