🥔 Creamy pommes aligot (a French twist on cheesy mashed potatoes)
🥦 Fresh, vibrant asparagus

We had the pleasure of welcoming Rachel Trautmann for a special Rug Tufting Demo in Assisted Living. 🎨🧶

Rachel shared her art background, knowledge of tufting, and passion for creativity with our residents. We had a full house, and it was such a joy seeing everyone engaged and inspired!

✨ Rachel shared:

“It was a pleasure to share my art background and knowledge about tufting. It was even better hearing about their chosen art mediums!”

“Art brings people together. Sometimes it looks like wandering through a museum, reading a book, or admiring beautiful architecture. & other times, it’s just about making something cool with excellent people and conversation.”

Residents also loved learning about the process and can’t wait to see the finished rug that will soon become a permanent piece at Thrive on Skidaway.

✨Outing Spotlight: Clary’s Café✨

Today, our Thrive crew enjoyed a delicious meal together at Clary’s Café - a true Savannah gem! 🍳🥞

Known for its friendly atmosphere, hearty breakfasts, and Southern hospitality, Clary’s has been serving locals and visitors alike since 1903. From fluffy French toast to savory omelets, everything was made with love and enjoyed around the table with laughter and conversation. 💕

Our residents had such a wonderful time sharing stories, savoring good food, and soaking up the charm of this historic café. Moments like these remind us that joy is found in community, connection, and (of course) great cooking! 🥰

📍 If you haven’t been, Clary’s is a must-visit spot in Savannah for breakfast or brunch. We can’t wait to go back!

🎶💖 An Afternoon We’ll Never Forget at Thrive!

Today, our community was swept away by the incredible talents of Chad and Michael from Savannah VOICE Festival 🎹🎤. Their music took us on a journey - we laughed, we cried, and we felt every emotion in between. It was nothing short of magical! ✨

From soulful melodies to joyful sing-alongs, the room was filled with energy, smiles, and connection. A heartfelt thank you to Ard from Hospice Savannah, Inc. for putting it all together, and thank you Savannah Hospice for doing such amazing work with the community. 💛

We’re so grateful to Chad, Michael, Savannah VOICE Festival, and Hospice Savannah for sharing their gifts and filling our hearts with music.
