Beginning January 1, 2026, the NC Radon Program has made 8,000 short-term test kits available for free. The goal is for 8,000 separate homes to be tested. Please only order one test kit per home. Supplies are limited. Free kits are made possible from a grant by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Once all 8,000 free test kits have been claimed, the link will return to an opportunity to purchase a short-term radon test kit. Use your test kit soon after receiving the kit.
