It is orientation week…and believe it or not your littles are listening to you and following your lead. If you say their classroom is awesome and inviting, they will believe it!! If you say the new teacher is amazing, fun, smart and super creative, they will believe it!!

So please enjoy orientation and do your part with your words and actions to make this a great school year for your kids!!!

If your little struggles with the feelings of anxiety sitting on their shoulder…here is a tip that works well for this momma…cup with fidgets, a snack, and a book with in reach. This easily changes the focus of the mind and can get the day going in a more positive direction.

I have asked several people today, “How are you?” Every single one has used the word “anxiety” in their response. Let’s slow down a moment and discuss...what have you done today to bring peace to your life? In what areas are you allowing anxiety to enter, and how can we prevent and manage that?
