Gastonia Pediatrics Associates- your local Gastonia Peds Practice
Gastonia Pediatric Associates was founded in 1956 as the second Pediatrics practice established in Gaston County by the late Dr. Gerad Marder.
Later, Dr. Marder was subsequently joined by Dr. Robert Chambers, the late Dr. Fredrick Norcross, and Dr. William Silkstone who have all since either retired or passed away.
Today, Dr. John Watts Jr., Dr. Sarah Grossman, and Dr. Constance Walker McMullan continue our tradition of providing thorough, compassionate medical care to our practice families.
Since our inception, the physicians and staff at Gastonia Pediatrics has served the families of Gaston County for over 61 years.
Our Commitment to the Community
For over 61 years, we have served several generations of families and thousands of children in Gaston county as physicians who live in the community we serve. Many of our families represent the third generation of patients that we have cared for over the years.
All our physicians are board certified in Pediatrics.
We are currently the only private group specialty Pediatrics Practice in Gastonia that is not owned by a multimillion-dollar corporation, but instead, is owned and operated together by each of the doctors who have committed to serve within the practice.
Private ownership offers us significant flexibility and control over the way we train our staff, manage our patients and serve our patients.
We maintain a warm, personal, casual, cordial environment where patients enjoy inviting spirit of our long term staff.
Each one of our physicians lives here in Gastonia where we are actively committed to improving and advancing our communities, and the families we serve.
We have appointment times available seven days a week for well and sick appointments, we offer late hours during the weekdays, and we have overnight nursing support from registered nurses trained in pediatrics to support and advise your family when the clinic is closed.
