At 6:30 p.m. on January 1, CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Belmont celebrated the arrival of Ashtyn Rae, the first baby of the new year at our Belmont campus! First-time parents Hayley and Justin Conway of Bessemer City are overjoyed to welcome their precious daughter.

Since opening the new hospital in Belmont nearly a year ago, we've had the privilege of caring for families during these special beginnings. We know Ashtyn and her parents have so much to look forward to and we are honored to be a part of their story.

Congratulations to this beautiful family. We are wishing them so many happy and healthy days ahead!

At 3:39 a.m. on January 1, The Birthplace at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia welcomed Stevie Jayne Adams, the first baby of the new year! Mom Elizabeth and Dad Liam are looking forward to getting Stevie home to Belmont and beginning their journey as a family of three.

Elizabeth and Liam are incredibly grateful to the amazing nurses and staff at The Birthplace who guided them through the safe delivery of their first child. "We couldn't have asked for a better team to welcome Stevie, especially the special nurses who brought us through a long delivery," they shared.

Congratulations to the Adams family on their precious new arrival. We are wishing them so many joyful moments as they start this new chapter with Stevie.
