Deep in our hearts, we know that trees hold a magic as ancient as time.

We’ve sat beneath them many times, taking comfort in their sturdy shelter while forgetting that many of these beings have witnessed hundreds of years of history and cycles of change.

Throughout the ages, trees have healed us. They’ve given us air to breathe. They’ve protected us from storms. We've used their wood to build homes and create a sense of safety. They’ve given to us in every possible way.

In their infinite generosity, trees hold the wisdom of the world deep within their roots, raising it up to the heavens with their emerald branches.

What would it be like to hear them speak, to hear the stories these ancient voices have to share?

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards the creation of a documentary detailing the importance of reforestation and the efforts already underway in Ireland to restore the magical Oak Groves that once guarded this ancestral land.

It respects instinctive knowledge, ethical living and playfulness, and relishes story and art.”

Reading these words by Dr. Sharon Blackie reinforced on every level the intuitive nudge I‘ve been following to rebirth my business as Enchanted Eros under the umbrella of Enchanted Life Designs. I found her book, The Enchanted Life, after I’d already felt the name come through and was searching to see what other associations with it exist. Her words resonated through my cells, since the enchantment she describes is exactly what the harrowing experiences of the past several years have helped reawaken within me, and exactly what I desire to invite others into should they be brave enough to meet me in these realms.

Sometimes the difference between spirals of despair and bursts of inspiration lies in learning to ask the right questions...and then being completely unattached to the answer as it arises. It's not just in the question itself, but the quality with which we ask it. Inspiration responds to curiosity. We have to be open to receive the guidance that comes through.

When I asked, "Who am I, and what do I really have to offer?" I never could have anticipated the response I received from the void. But the truth of it set off fireworks in my being, and has shaped the course of my journey ever since...
