In keeping with the spirit of National Children’s Dental Health Month, our Speech Therapy team welcomed Dr. Jon from Purple Tooth Dental to speak with our Speech Therapists about his tongue tie revision services and general dental hygiene. We learned so much and feel ready to help better provide information with our families.

Early visits help build healthy habits and make dental care a positive experience from the start. Occupational therapy plays an important role in supporting healthy dental routines, too. If your child has difficulty tolerating toothbrushing, struggles during dental visits, or finds self-care routines overwhelming, OT can help build the skills and confidence needed for success.
