Hello Gliding Crew!
On May 19th, Jack, had a seizure in the classroom, and he's been in the hospital ever since.
His teaching assistant wanted to bring some light to a tough situation and raise support for Jack's family.
He is organizing a free community event: Jog for Jack! It's happening Saturday, June 14th from 10AM-1PM at Orlando Park in Wickliffe, Ohio!
For every lap completed around the park, $1 will be donated to Jack's family! He has been lucky enough to find some amazing local businesses that are matching the total lap count! So if we reach 100 laps, that's $100 from his assistant and $100 from each supporting business! Every step truly makes a difference.
You can walk, run, bike, skateboard, whatever gets you around the loop works! Bring the kids, their laps count as well.
One lap is about a third of a mile. This activity will help increase their endurance for our ice skating season. :)
If you're not up for the laps, no worries! Just come hang out and bring your positive energy! There'll be an awesome food truck, amazing live music, free cookies, great people, and everything we need for a feel-good Saturday morning!
