MFRW fully supports SB 3124, sponsored by Senator Josh Harkins, new legislation which will help support the life-saving work of Mississippi’s pregnancy resource centers. The bill has passed the Senate and now heads to the House!

✔ SB 3124 expands tax credits available to individuals who donate to pregnancy centers.
✔ This strengthens services for women and children by allowing pregnancy centers to expand childbirth, parenting, and family support resources.
✔ By encouraging private donations, the bill helps more Mississippi families access care, support, and resources during pregnancy and early parenthood.

Good afternoon. Our Lucedale center is running low on size 4 through 6 and wipes also. If you are in the area or have some you would like to donate please let me know, or can drop them off during office hours. They are in the office Monday 9-2 and Wednesday 9-2. Business Owners- The PRA is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit from the state; essentially allowing you to send the tax dollars you would pay to the state directly to the local pregnancy resource center (PRC) of your choosing. For example, if your business pays $5,000 to the state in tax liability, you can choose for up to 50% of that amount to be donated to your local Pregnancy Resource Center like PROMISS!

Happy New Year to everyone. As we go day to day always remember to pray for each other. Pray for clients, Promiss, staff, board, donors. So many are dealing with different things in life.
