Our very own Director of Peer Support Services, Tobias Neal, led a powerful breakout session that was standing room only, full of life, love, and genuine connection.

This wasn’t just a presentation, it was a shared experience. Attendees brought their full selves into the room, and what unfolded was honest, healing, and deeply human.

We’re so proud of the impact our team is having, not just in Northern Michigan, but across the state.

From one small team to a network of hope across Northern Michigan 🌲💙

Here’s a look at how far we’ve come:

✅ 2013: Peer Supports launches under NMSAS

✅ 2016: Expanded across multiple counties

✅ 2020: Pivoted to virtual support during the pandemic

✅ 2022: Over 100 active recovery coach connections

✅ 2025: Preparing for a new volunteer-powered model

The journey has been real, raw, and powerful. And it’s not over—we’re just evolving. 🚀
