Meet the Doctor!

Dr. Amanda grew up in Seaside, Oregon. Her small town rearing fostered the love of community and one-on-one connection with others. She was encouraged by her parents to use her hands from a young age. Her mom taught her sewing and other crafts, and her dad taught her basic “handyman” skills of use around the house.

After sustaining a severe whiplash injury in high school, Dr. Amanda started receiving chiropractic care and was amazed by the relief she found with treatment. She graduated from the University of Western States with her Doctorate in Chiropractic and Bachelors of Human Biology.

Dr. Amanda approaches each patient and their condition with gentle consideration and works to tailor treatment to the individual. She strives to provide practical tools to empower their health journey, even at home. Dr. Amanda specializes in a scientific, biomechanical approach, and uses manual and tool-assisted adjusting, soft tissue and muscle relaxation techniques, and rehab exercises to help get patients out of pain. She treats conditions ranging from everyday aches and pains of the back, arms, and legs, to headaches, jaw pain, and severe injuries such as motor vehicle accidents.

In her free time, Dr. Amanda enjoys getting outdoors with her dogs, Winston and Bella.

Exciting things are brewing at the clinic!

This morning we are on our way home with the new clinic table, one that offers a treatment called flexion-distraction. While flexion-distraction can be amazing for many conditions, clinical research particularly supports improved outcomes in patients with disc injuries such as hernitions!

I am so excited to be able to offer this treatment to patients!
