🚨 Eye Drop Recall Alert 🚨
Several over-the-counter eye drops sold at major retailers like Walgreens, CVS, Kroger, and Rite Aid have been recalled nationwide.
This recall has been classified as a Class II recall, meaning:
➡️ The products may cause temporary or medically reversible side effects
➡️ The risk of serious health complications is low, but still possible 
💧 Why the recall?
The manufacturer issued the recall due to concerns about a lack of sterility, meaning the drops may not be completely free from contamination 
📦 What to look for:
• Store-brand or off-brand artificial tears and lubricating drops
• Certain lot numbers and expiration dates (many expiring in 2026)

K.C. Pharmaceuticals is recalling more than 3.1 million bottles of eye drops due to “lack of assurance of sterility,” according to the FDA. The eight affected products, totaling 3,111,072 individual units, have been distributed throughout the U.S.
