Self-care won’t solve your problems.
It’s not a cure.
But it helps.

It won’t fix negativity, overwhelm, or burnout overnight.

But it does calm your nervous system, restore your energy,
and help you show up stronger for your real life.

Rest isn’t avoidance.

Stress is something we all experience. And that's okay!
Whether it’s taking a short walk, talking with a friend, practicing mindfulness, or simply stepping away from your phone for a bit, give your mind a moment to rest and reset today. It can be something simple and short.
Which one will you try today? 🧠

Today is University Mental Health Day! This is your reminder to take care of yourself.
Get a coffee, read a book, or do something you enjoy. 💚

Check in with yourself. Check in with your friends. Ask for help when you need it, and remind the people around you that they’re not alone.

When you get a call
From someone you networked with years ago
You know you’re doing something right when it comes to networking.

Loved talking business and goals with you
And can’t wait to watch your success unfold

Resilience is important for all aspects of life- Being changed by life is inevitable. Being reduced by it is a choice. Experiences can make us wiser, stronger, and more compassionate. Refusing to be reduced means choosing growth over defeat and remembering that what happens to us is only one part of who we become. 🌷

Push through this week and treat yourself at the end! Getting through life can be hard, but never impossible.

National Social Work Month reminds me of why I chose this career in the first place- it's more than just work for me. This month is personal to my experiences.

As an LCSW, I help others grow and find strength, guiding them through vulnerable moments. Social work isn’t always loud or visible, but it is powerful.

I'm grateful for my clients and colleagues that help make my work matter so much!

March is Women's History Month! ♀️💪

Women's History Month was established in 1980 and reflects on the vital roles women have played in shaping history, culture, and society.

I am a Certified Women Owned Business, and love seeing how powerful women are in the world.

Don’t forget your donation!

🎉 Basket & Gift Card Donations 🎉

We are arranging donation pick-ups through Friday, March 6. If you have a raffle basket, gift card, or auction item (or plan to!), please reach out to schedule pickup.

Our gala program print deadline is Friday, March 6, so we’d love to hear from everyone planning to donate (even if your item isn’t ready yet), so we can ensure you’re properly recognized in the program. 👏

We are so grateful for this community’s generosity and can’t wait to celebrate WNY CAN’s progress and the important work ahead at the gala! 💙

⏰ Time is running out to join us live.

If leadership has been feeling heavier than it should…
If you’ve been doing all the “right” things but something still feels off…
If you’re craving a way to lead that is both effective and sustainable…
This is your reminder.

Values-Aligned Leadership: Truth Over Tactics is happening soon, and we’re closing registration shortly.

In this live Zoom session, from and I will walk through what happens when leadership is rooted in values instead of pressure, fear, or performative tactics

And how that shift strengthens your decisions, communication, and team culture.

You’ll leave with:
✔️ Clear insight into your leadership values
✔️ Awareness of the hidden costs of misalignment
✔️ Practical tools you can use immediately
✔️ A more grounded, sustainable way to lead
